We have another identical day as we had yesterday except with less moisture. Strong southerly flow is due to us being sandwiched in between a high pressure system in the Carolinas as well as a low pressure system in central Wisconsin. These winds are helping fuel severe storms in both Wisconsin and Iowa later tonight.

This system will gradually make its way toward the Muncie area by the morning bringing showers and thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms may be severe but the risk is low. Any severe threat from these storms would be a wind or hail threat.

This evening expect clouds to build in from the northwest as this storm system approaches. Once the sunsets and clouds dominate overhead our temperatures should fall much more slowly into the lower 70’s. The winds will pick up overnight and bring in some more moisture but it will feel slightly cooler than last night.
