Heat and humidity in full force for beginning of week

High pressure is dominating the area will continue to over the next few days. As the high pressure is in place temperatures will soar to the upper 80s to 90 degrees. Along with the hot temperature will be dew points in the mid-70s that will make it feel muggy and uncomfortable outside.  These conditions will be in place for tomorrow before relief sets in late Wednesday and Thursday.

As Wednesday approaches so will a low pressure system. The system will bring a chance for severe weather and cooler conditions. The cold front will move through the area in the afternoon hours, but showers and storms could be possible at all most anytime. After the front moves through temperatures will cool dramatically with temperatures for Thursday in the upper 70s with lower humidity levels.

As we head into Labor day weekend, shower and storm chances will be in the forecast again as an unsettled weather pattern sets in.
