The cold front that brought showers and thunderstorms to the area the past two days has finally moved eastward. An area of high pressure located in the Great Plains is now in control across the region. Clear skies, cooler temperatures, and comfortable dew points are in play for the next few days as the high pressure approaches east central Indiana. However, breezy conditions will continue, with a NW wind around 10-20mph.
A shortwave trough will move into the area this weekend, bringing chances for showers and thunderstorms as well as higher dew points. Afterward, temperatures look to warm significantly early next week, with temperatures in the 90’s possible.
