Good evening, Ball State Cardinals! Brief as it may have been, it did snow this morning. Expect it to stay cooler until we get back into the 70s this Wednesday. Right now it is 37°F, with 28 mph gusts. It will begin to warm up as we move into the evening, with our high of 42°F being reached at 8 pm. Additionally, showers will return at 5 pm, but end by 7 pm.
In spite of the Star Wars reference in the title, we do know the source of this temperature drop! A low has developed over Lake Michigan, leading to cyclonic (counter-clockwise) rotation bringing cool air from the north down to Indiana. By midday tomorrow, we will get into the 50s, as a consequence of us receiving less of this air as the cyclone moves away or dissipates.
