Expect rain showers, heavy at times, to linger throughout the day. We could even hear a few rumbles of thunder as well. Rainfall totals expected to be 0.5-1.0 inch, locally higher in thunderstorms.
With already an already saturated ground, it is likely that puddling could occur on the roadways. If you encounter a flooded roadway, be sure to turn around and find an alternate route!
Temperatures will be on the rise throughout the late morning, and we’ll reach our high around the afternoon before temperatures start to cool off going into the later part of the day.
