Good afternoon! Here is an afternoon update. We are currently sitting at 41 degrees with strong winds out of the west at around 23 mph. Skies are mostly clear with little cloud cover across the area. As for the next few hours, temperatures will rise just a bit warmer to around 45 degrees. Winds will start to decrease once we move into the early evening hours after about 3 PM. There are no precipitation chances for today, so enjoy the sunshine!
High pressure is dominating in the Midwest right now and this is our reason for clear skies today. This high pressure will remain in the area for most of the day today. Enjoy the sunshine today, because rain will be returning soon!
