Good Midday Cardinals! After a slippery start to things this morning, the freezing rain that gave way to snow showers look to continue over the next hour or two, then coverage will drop off. Sadly, it’s another dreary day in the sky cover department as we continue to see clouds from the system affecting our area as some middle-level moisture remains around, as well as a layer of warm air (also known as an inversion). The persistent northerly/NNW winds in our system’s wake look to cool things off gradually as we make our way through the day giving us some frigid conditions overnight. Be on the lookout for that inversion & cloudiness to break sometime tomorrow, however, as high pressure settles in!
