Good day to everyone out there! As of 7:30 am we’re at 57°F at the Muncie Airport with light rain. The rain for today has just begun and will have little to no breaks in the rain for the day today. The rain could be accompanied with some thunder at times with the heavier pockets of rain. We have only received 0.06 inches of rain so far today and we expect a total of at least 1 inch of rain today if not more. The day will be warm despite the rain, highs will be in the mid 70’s with lows overnight tonight reaching to 50°F as a cold front is expected to move through tonight. The day will be breezy with wind gusts up to 30 mph expected which could break some umbrellas outside today.
