Fog/Haze Lingering, Isolated Showers Possible

Good morning to everyone out there! As of 9 am, it is 57°F under mostly cloudy skies with some haze/fog still reducing visibility in some areas in and around Muncie. The wind is dead calm as of now, in combination of high humidity values of around 90% is causing the fog/haze to stick around longer than anticipated. The fog/haze is not expected to impact travel as visibility is 6 miles or slightly greater and is only expected to improve as the day goes on. Winds will be present today from calm to around 5-10 mph from the southeast by the mid to late morning. Currently on radar, there is some pockets of rain showers detected on the Indianapolis radar image that are still a significant ways from Muncie. That is expected to move north and east and could cause some rain chances in the afternoon, the morning however will be dry. High for today will be in the low 70’s, forecast for the Carnival tonight to be around in the mid 60’s with no chance of rain expected, should be a good time for those who are going tonight!
