Warm Temperatures Bring Storms

Good morning everyone! Walking out the door this morning felt nice, but thunderstorms are in store for us today. Be sure to grab a rain jacket and umbrella out the door. We are sitting at 67 degrees with cloudy skies for now. It is quite humid out there, you can feel it! Rain chances are less likely this morning but increase as we move into the afternoon. Thunderstorms will move into the area as a front moves through later. We do have a severe threat for weather later tonight, so stay tuned to your local news station for more information. The National Weather Service has us under a slight risk which is level 2 out of 5 for severe weather. Threats for this level include damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Our concern for this system is that the severe line of storms could produce tornadoes later tonight. Keep your phones and radio on if you have one!

This system is not only producing severe storms here in the southeast and midwest, we are also seeing snow out west! This low-pressure system has greatly impacted some areas already south and continues to bring copious amounts of snow to places like North Dakota and Montana!
