Good afternoon to everyone out there! As of 11:30 am here in Muncie it is 50°F under partly cloudy skies. The wind was out of the southeast at 8mph, producing a slight wind chill factor of 47°F. Clouds are expected to build as the day goes on today. Looking at the current radar image, some light rain is on the radar in southern Indiana and could make it’s way northward to bring some light showers by 3 pm this afternoon. Chances are not every high it is a possibility that it could rain this afternoon. Rainfall that does fall should total to less than 0.1 inches so not a major factor or a washout. The rain is moving very slowly on radar so the rain if it does reach Muncie will last for at least a couple of hours. Temperatures however are expected to rise to about 64°F for a high today, despite the rain that could temporarily cool us down a bit in the afternoon. Temperatures will stay mild for tonight as our low is currently forecasted at 46°F.
