Winter-Like Conditions

Good morning and happy Saturday! We have been experiencing winter-like weather as of late. Today, our high is only 35°F and we won’t see another 40-degree day until Monday. Surface winds and gusts lower temperatures more than 10°.

Surrounding cities and states are experiencing a system that brings both likely rain and snow chances. The Midwest states are more likely to experience a mix of rain and snow. Cities like Fort Wayne have already experienced snow showers from the overnight system. Although the chances for snow are 30%, it is still likely to see flurries moving forward in the day. A cold front is moving through the northern states, increasing their risk for snow as well. Precipitation chances will decrease to 10% by Saturday evening.

For the time being, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring out your heavy coat today. Stay warm and enjoy your weekend!
