Good evening everyone out there! Nice sunny day it has been today! A little windy out there today, with a tight pressure gradient as a result as the air mass change from the cold weather from Friday and Saturday to the much above normal temperatures expected this week. As of 1 pm it is currently 57°F under a sunny sky. Winds are out of the Southwest at 16 mph gusting to 23 mph. We expect a forecasted high of 62°F around 5 pm today, it might feel warmer in the sun, the 62°F is the temperature in the shade, not in direct sunlight. The wind will remain quite windy with sustained winds up to 20 mph gusting up to 30 mph locally at times. The winds will drastically diminish round sunset tonight around 8pm down to 5-10 mph during the overnight hours. Temperatures peak around 5pm and will drop to the mid 40’s by midnight tonight. A very nice, quiet day to kick off the second half of the Spring semester for all the Ball State students and a nice spring day in general.
