Good morning to everyone out there! As of 9:30 am it was 27°F at the Muncie Airport with a brisk northwest wind at 13mph, which is producing a Windchill of 16°F. The sky is overcast with a thick mid level cloud layer that is producing some isolated flurries this morning. With this cloud layer and the rather consistent sustained northwest wind, temperatures will not move much at all today. For much of the morning we should expect to stay in the upper 20’s all morning. Our forecasted high for the day today is 31°F, so significant warm up is not expected today. The morning will remain cloudy and should continue on for much of the day today. Snow flurries are possible this morning which has been the case with flurries being seen on campus here at Ball State, but the snow chances should greatly decrease as the day goes on.
