At this time yesterday, temperatures were almost in the 40s! Yesterday we saw high temperatures reach 60 degrees in many areas. As a cold front moved through last night, temperatures were greatly affected. We dropped to the 30s here in Muncie and now we are sitting at 27 degrees. What a difference a day can make! Expect today to be cold with winds staying around 10 mph. Temperatures today will only reach around 31 degrees. Temperatures won’t warm up too much because we will not see much if any sunshine for today. Expect cloudy skies for most of the day.
As the rain has moved out of our area from last evening, we can expect dry conditions for today. This is due to high pressure that is actually taking up most of the country. This high pressure will eventually move out of the area and we will see two systems move in between tonight and Thursday. These systems will possibly bring us some accumulation of snow and more mixed precipitation.
