A quiet and cold weekend will lead to an active weather pattern to for the first half of the work week. Above normal temperatures and rain is expected for the back-half of the work week.

Saturday: Yet another polar high will nudge south to Central Indiana, the day will be cloudy with highs only in the mid 20’s, lows in the mid-teens. A rather breezy day with Northwest winds around 15 mph will likely send the Windchill down to the Single digits in the morning and evening hours.

Sunday: The Big Game Sunday! Not much change compared to Saturday cold, winds will die down slightly. A weak pulse coming in from the Ohio River Valley has the potential to pump out isolated snow showers, but these will not accumulate to much if any at all travel to and from on Sunday will be unaffected. Highs will be in the mid 20’s lows in the lower teens.

Monday: High pressure will still dominate the region the sky should be mostly sunny and the temperatures will begin to moderate. Highs will jump to the low 30’s but still below average on what we should see for the middle of February. Lows around 20.

Tuesday: Light southerly winds will begin to take place bringing increased moisture for the day but the day Tuesday will be dry and quite warm too! Highs in the mid to upper 40’s. Lows only dropping to the mid to low 30’s.

Wednesday: Unsettled weather is expected to move in late Wednesday with a robust surface low coming off the Rockies with a warm front should bring increased rain chances for Wednesday evening. However much of the day Wednesday looks dry and it will not be a total washout. Highs in the 50’s! How about that a little spring preview coming our way towards the second half of the work week next week!
