Good day to all you Cardinals out there! What was a rather cold morning with temperatures dropping into the single digits yet again this morning as turned out to be a rather nice one out there. Finally some of you could shed the heavy duty winter jackets for a little bit! As of 11 am we are currently at 24°F under a sunny sky. The sun for sure makes it feel warmer than 24°F for sure. The wind is still being pesky from the south at 10 mph producing a Windchill of 14°F but the south wind is helping us moderate temperatures to where we should be for this time of year. Under the full sun, we should see rapid melting of the snow for the rest of the day. Temperatures are supposed to climb to above freezing by 2 pm today with highs topping out in the upper 30’s today! Some spots may hit 40°F if they are lucky today. We expect this nice quiet weather to hang around for the next couple of days as our extremely active weather pattern to start February will have a little break, giving us quiet weather for the time being.
