Good morning everyone! With classes going online for yet another day I hope you all are staying warm as a result. It is currently 13°F with a nippy north wind at 9 mph, which gives us a wind chill of 1°F. We should expect the Windchill to remain in this general ballpark figure of 5-above to 5-below as temperatures will not warm up much for the morning. Winds will remain from the north or northwest at 5-10 mph today. The cloud layer that we currently have will progressively thin out as the day goes on as our winter storm from yesterday advances further north and east. Not enough to cause significant break in the clouds for today. At least from my “outside the office” location, it looks like the plows have begun to treat at least the major streets here in Muncie and main roads are now passible with little to no difficulty. However side streets and residential areas could still be quite dicey to drive on as the 7+ inches of snow yesterday has not been moved yet give or take some tire tracks or a helpful neighbor with a plow.
