Happy Earth Day! After a snowy and unseasonable Tuesday and Wednesday, things are finally going to return back to spring weather today…almost! Right now, temperatures are around 37 degrees with winds coming out of the southwest at 5 mph and wit overcast skies over the area. As we head throughout the morning, temperatures are expected to gradually warm up to the mid 40s by the noon hour. Partly cloudy skies will return and winds will be coming out of the north-northwest at 7-15 mph with gusts up to 22 mph at times. Temperatures will eventually top out at around 52 degrees later today which is still way below average for this time of year. However, a warmer pattern is on the horizon as a big warm surge may arrive by early next week and finally bring about the return of much warmer weather. If you are going to be heading out today, make sure that you dress appropriately for the weather and please do you part in taking care of the Earth today!
