After a splendid and beautiful dry stretch of warm April-like weather, rain and storms are expected to return! Right now, it is 64 degrees with low clouds in the area. Winds are coming out of the south at 13 mph with gusts up to 23 mph. As we head throughout the later part of the morning and into the afternoon, we expect rain and thunderstorms to increase in coverage and become likely by this afternoon! Temperatures will eventually top out around 67 degrees despite the rain and cloud cover. Winds will be coming out of the south at 17-23 mph with winds gusting up to 34 mph at times! By the end of today, we are expected to see up to rainfall amounts about 0.75 inches of rain. If you are heading out this morning make sure you take an umbrella with you because the rain will be with us throughout the day today!
