Due to a change in the magnetic field southward, parts of the United States will have a rare chance to see the northern lights tonight. If you are located above the G3 line, you have an increased chance of seeing the northern lights as the geomagnetic storm reaches its peak strength this evening. Best viewing times will be around 10PM-1AM. The G3 line is located around the border of northern Indiana and into Michigan!
