Good Friday afternoon! After a day and a half of seeing balmy and unseasonably warm temperatures, we are expecting some changes to arrive this afternoon. For the first part of the afternoon, we do expect sun and clouds to continue with highs hovering around 76 degrees for high. However by 3pm, storm chances will start to rapidly increase as a cold front approaches the area with a broken line of thunderstorms. Also with the line of storms, we do have a marginal risk in place for much of Indiana today. With the storms we do expect lightning, heavy rain, small hail, damaging winds, and even the slight possibility of a tornado. It is imperative that you take advantage of the precautions to prepare for changes in the weather later today. As you are heading out, you may have to carry the umbrella with you if you are going to be out for a long periods of time today. Enjoy the warmth while it last because this may in fact be the last of it, at least for this year!
