October 21st, 2020 Morning Forecast

Good morning to everyone out there! Been a rough 12 to 18 hours in the weather department today. With a lightning show that we had last night that briefly knocked out power to areas of Muncie. 1 to 2.5 inches of rain fell in total across the area during the night’s storms with the 2.5 inch totals being on the south side of Muncie. As we speak around 9am, a cold front bringing in a small band of showers is advancing through. As a result temperatures will fall for much of today as the cold front advances throughout the region this morning. At 9AM, we’re currently at 61°F here in Muncie, 3°F cooler than what it was at 8 AM pointing that the cold front has well and truly indeed passed Muncie. Our low for today will probably hit in the next hour or so as temperatures will drop around 50°F before rebounding to the mid 60’s by the evening hours.

High: 66°F

Low: 50°F

Winds: West to Northwest at 5-10 mph

Conditions as of 9am: Cloudy with light rain
