Going into this afternoon, we will continue to have mainly sunny skies with a few clouds from time to time. Right now, temperatures are at around 71 degrees with winds coming out of the east at 10 mph. This afternoon we expect temperatures to make up to 77 degrees with the sunshine continuing. Going out, you may not need the jacket and you definitely won’t have to bring the umbrella because we remain rain-free until possible Wednesday evening. Also, you may have noticed the haze in the air. The cause for the haze is due to wildfires smoke out from the west coast that have spread throughout the Great Plains and have infiltrated the skies. This may have an effect on the blue skies to make them appear more hazy but we don’t expect much from them. However, there will be hazy sunrises and hazy sunsets the next couple of days as the result of the dust.
