Good Morning! The rain we had around for a good portion of yesterday, has moved out, leaving us with a cold, damp, and cloudy start to our Wednesday. The temperature is currently about 32°, with a NE wind, 10-15 mph, making it feel more like the mid-20’s. We should stay in the mid-30’s throughout the day, with a wintry mix developing later in the afternoon.

For that reason, the National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, which goes into effect at 4 P.M and extends through 10 A.M. tomorrow morning. Main impacts are light snow, as well as ice accumulations. However, at this time, ice looks to big the bigger concern in and around Muncie, with 0.1 to 0.2 inch accumulations possible. This could lead to slick roads and sidewalks, especially if they’re untreated, which could result in some hazardous travel for commutes this evening into tomorrow morning. Stay tuned for any updates throughout the day!
