Accumulating snowfall today

Happy weekend! Yet again, we have another weekend winter system bringing accumulating snowfall. Snow has already begun falling in Muncie, a dusting is already on the ground and more is falling. Through tomorrow morning, total snowfall totals should be between 1-3 inches in Muncie area. This however, is dependent on temperatures above the surface, because if they remain below freezing enough, everything that falls will continue to be snow. However, if it warms above the surface, the snow could melt and fall as rain before it reaches the ground. Because of this, there are slight chances of wintry mix and rain along with this snowfall. Winds will also be breezy, so there is a chance of blowing snow as well.
