This evening can be summed up as the calm before the storm, with storms coming in during the overnight hours. This comes as a low-pressure system moves in and brings storms into the area. These storms, most likely moving in after 11 pm tonight, will likely bring heavy gusts and rain into the area, which is why the SPC has us under a slight risk for severe weather. But before that happens, we expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper-70s and low-80s for this evening, with a small chance for spotty showers expected. So there’s still time before these storms move in. Just make sure to take an umbrella with you and drive safely for tonight.
