We have a wonderfully sunny Independence Day. A high of 90°F today with SW winds from 4-7 mph. The heat index will be in the mid-90’s, so stay hydrated. Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, mainly after 2 PM. This remains a part of the continued weather pattern we have seen over the last few days. A high pressure system remains to our SE and a stationary front to our north. Luckily, it appears a low-pressure system will make its way through in a few days and disrupt this pattern.
