We have reached the low 80’s and will stay there for the next few hours. Gusting winds over 20 mph are also present. The chance for thunderstorms increases from 3 PM. The SPC has us in a slight risk for severe weather today, which we will continue to monitor into the evening. It seems like the shear profile is not favorable for tornado development, but an isolated threat is possible. The greatest chance for severe weather lies in the wind and hail threat this afternoon.
