Stormy, Rainy Evening Possible for Tonight

Tonight will involve storms, as a low-pressure system continues to create storm potential across much of Central Indiana, which is why we’re still under a slight risk for severe weather, according to the SPC. Right now, cloudy skies and upper-70s temperatures dominate the area, and those conditions will persist for the next few hours. At 5 pm, expect a temperature of 79 degrees, with breezy westerly winds and isolated storms moving into the area. They could bring heavy winds and heavy rain. Most of the rain will be gone by 8 pm, but isolated showers might happen even then. Barring that, partly clear skies and temperatures in the 70s will move through in-between. Overall, just make sure to stay safe as you travel home this evening.
