This morning is the calm before the storm. Right now, we have mostly clear skies and temperatures in the mid-70s. These temperatures are expected to drop to the low-70s by noon. Breezy southwesterly winds of 10-15 mph will make conditions feel cooler.
However, the big story for today is the rain, as a low-pressure system continues to move north of Indiana. Indiana is under a slight risk for severe weather, as potential thunderstorms will move through Central Indiana around mid-afternoon, with the first rain showers coming in at approximately noon. These rain storms could bring winds of up to 40 mph and heavy rain, so keep your rain gear on and make sure to drive safely, especially in windy conditions. We’ll keep you updated as that rain comes in.
