For the rest of the day today we will be under the effects of high pressure system. The high pressure is located over the northern Great Lakes allowing for eastern winds to dominate the area for the rest of the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to rise into the upper 30’s with how clear our skies our and I would not be surprised if we somehow hit 40 in a couple of spots nearby. What will also help this is how dry our air is above our head and I expect nothing but some high cirrus clouds to pass by throughout the afternoon.
