After a messy morning, conditions will improve as the afternoon goes on. Temperatures will rise throughout the day which will help melt snow and ice on roads and sidewalks. Rain showers will also move into the area later in the afternoon.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, the sun will return. We will still have clouds around but the sun will peak through. Temperatures will be similar to today in the low 40s and winds will from the west at 10-15 mph.
