The Polar Vortex is in full force this afternoon will temperatures remaining below zero throughout the afternoon. Although with very cold and dangerous temperatures we will have wind chills that are between -25 to -35 degrees. With wind chills of this magnitude frost bite can occur within 10 minutes of being outside so it is essential to take proper precautions (ie hat, scarf, gloves, heavy coat, and boots) if you plan to head out today.
Looking ahead, tomorrow will be another cold day before temperatures rebound on Friday and into the weekend.
