Good evening Cardinal Country! As you might have noticed, the Arctic air mass that has been hovering over our area the past few days has finally last us, and we have warmer temperatures once again! These warmer temperatures will be bringing rain overnight though. Tonight, we will be seeing steadily increasing temperatures throughout the night, reaching a high of about 40 overnight. Throughout the evening into tomorrow we will also be seeing widespread rain showers move through the area. Starting around in the later evening hours, we will be seeing consistent rainfall through the overnight hours into tomorrow. This rain will continue to melt the snow from this past weekend’s winter event, and cause puddles in some areas. Cloudy conditions will remain through the evening as well. We could be seeing some breezy conditions as well, with winds coming out of the south at around 15-20 mph through most of the night, with gusts up to 25-30 mph as well. Confidence in this rain event is fairly high. Don’t forget to bring out that umbrella and rain boots tomorrow!
