Current temperatures are in the mid to upper teens and wind chills in the single digits it feels like the middle of winter. Unfortunately for us meteorological winter starts on December 1st so we still have plenty of winter weather to go through!
Yesterday Indianapolis recorded it’s fourth coldest November max temp of 26. Today the area will struggle to hit the freezing mark once again but there is some good news as the cloud cover clears out allowing for several hours of sunshine to warm us up (mentally). A warming trend will take place peaking Saturday as a storm system passes to our north. This means Indiana will be in the warm sector with temperatures in the 50’s. However there is an old saying “When it’s warm in winter watch out for what is behind it” and I believe there will be a return to unseasonably cold weather for next week.
