Gloomy Weekend Ahead

We have had a messy Thursday as a winter storm took over the Muncie area early morning. As weather is start to improve throughout Thursday, we can see improvements for the weekend. Friday we can see partly sunny skies as temperatures start their improvements as well. Leading into the weekend, while temperatures will still improve, conditions will be mostly overcast while finishing off the weekend with a chance of possible wintry mix that can transition into snow during the Sunday night hours. Some relief can be felt next Monday and Tuesday when the sun starts to shine and possibly reach up to 40s by next Tuesday. Winds will be blowing around 5-10 mph besides Friday which we could see winds reach up to 23 mph which can have wind chills down into the high 20s. Stay weather aware as conditions throughout the day but still expect slick spots and black ice on the roads from this early morning ice storm.
