Wet Weather to Dominate Tomorrow

A strong wind out of the south west has pushed our temperatures today into the upper 60’s making today feel the best in a long time.  Temperatures tonight will not drop far only falling around 55 degrees. Winds will be quick overnight moving around 14-19 mph. We could see some gusts greater than 30 mph tonight so make sure you keep those Halloween decorations tied down if you do your trick or treating early. After midnight we could see a scattered thunderstorm or tow before everything will switch over to rain by 2-3 in the morning.

Halloween is setting up to be a wet one. A cold front is forecasted to stall close to the Ohio river tomorrow allowing showers and a few thunderstorms early to train over are area. The strong southwesterly winds that we have been having today have slowly been bringing in moisture into our area. As of 4 pm the main axis of moisture has pushed its way into Indianapolis and will be here within the next hour or two. Rain amounts will vary anywhere from half of an inch to around an inch of rain by the end of Halloween.
