A cold front is sweeping through our area giving us some brief heavy down pours as well as bringing in cooler temperatures for tonight. Winds will begin to shift back to the west as the night progresses bringing back in some of the moisture we lose today. The risk for severe weather is low today. Clouds will stick around tonight and into tomorrow as this system moves through.
The temperatures drop tonight into the middle 60’s with the help of this cloud cover. Once this cloud cover burns off we will be looking at high temperatures 10-15 degrees above average tomorrow. The main reason for this a strong ridge trough set up is going to take place bringing in some of this summer time heat and humidity back into the area once again.
