Starting the week off with a near-stationary front lifting to the north through southern Michigan and back through Illinois. There is a strong high pressure to the east that will result in a strengthening southerly flow allowing for the high temperatures to climb into the low-mid 80’s this afternoon. The trend for the week will be warmer-than-average temperatures as the current average high for October 1st is only 71. There will be several chances of showers and thunderstorms through out the week with nothing sticking out severe wise.
The pattern seems to be locked in for most of this week and into the weekend. If you have any yard work left to finish before fall returns, this week provides an excellent opportunity to get out and finish up the work.
