We managed to avoid any precipitation associated with the remnants of Hurricane Florence in our area today. This allowed heat to build into the area, with temperatures late this afternoon soaring into the upper 80s. A pleasant evening lies ahead, with temperatures in the mid-70s and a mixture of clouds and sun. Lows overnight drop into the lower 60s. Tomorrow looks to bring more sunshine than today, with highs approaching the middle 80s. Get out and enjoy this stretch of warm weather!
