Calm Beautiful Weather Through the Weekend

There is currently a strong high pressure system situated over the eastern Great Lakes region. This high pressure system is preventing any rainy weather conditions throughout the remainder of this week and into the weekend. There are two stationary fronts expected to linger for at least the next couple of days. One is situated in the southeast, where an abundance of rain is expected over the next few days via Hurricane Florence. The other is situated over Minnesota through the Dakotas. This front is expected to transition into a warm front, and move away from the Midwest.

As for the Muncie region over the next few days, we are expecting calm weather with moderate temperatures peaking in the 70’s and 80’s through the weekend. No precipitation is expected as well, but that may change heading into next week.
