After a very soggy weekend, conditions are expected to improve this week. Temperatures will begin to rise to near normal and rain is not expected within the next few days. Today the clouds will remain throughout the day with clouds starting to clear out tomorrow.
This weekends soggy conditions were brought on by tropical storm Gordon moving into the area and combining with a low pressure system that was already in the area. With that system out of here, high pressure will move in and dominate the area for the next few days.
Today winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph which will keep the temperatures cooler and fall-like today with highs reaching the mid 60s. Enjoy this afternoon and the next few days with warmer temperatures and no rain in the forecast.
