A cold front and accompanying trough will continue to bring a chance for scattered storms this afternoon. Some clearing that the area is currently experiencing will allow for some daytime heating. This could therefore trigger additional shower and thunderstorm development later this afternoon (around 3:00PM and later), which will be largely scattered in nature. Therefore, not everyone may experience rain this afternoon.
Once the front clears the region, skies will clear and temperatures will feel quite comfortable outside, with highs in the mid-70’s. However, scattered storms will once again be possible Friday afternoon and evening, with temperatures gradually rising into next week.
