The first week is finally behind us and it’s been a beautiful one, however that will all change for the weekend and into next week. We have a system that will be pushing through the area that will be bringing rain and warmer temperatures. Rainfall totals are likely to reach up to half of inch and higher amounts with stronger thunderstorms.
The timing of these storms are going to be Friday evening starting around 4 pm, at this time it will be pop up showers, so if your’re heading out for the Friday night football games to make sure you have the raincoat and umbrella handy. It won’t be till Saturday morning that we will be getting the heavier rain, so if you have plans Saturday morning, be careful of the wet roads and grab that umbrella.
Once this system moves out of the area, winds will be shifting out of the SSW so the humidity and the warm temperatures will be back for Sunday and into the early next week. We will be looking at temperatures into the high 80’s for early next week for Monday and Tuesday.
