High pressure will continue to build across the area today and through the weekend leaving the area dry and mostly clear. Rain chances begin to increase late Sunday and into Monday as the high-pressure systems begins to move out the region and the advancing warm front associated with a deepening low-pressure system over the northern plains surges into the area. With the advancing warm front, an ample amount of moisture will be present for PoPs (Probability of Precipitation) on Sunday into Monday. Dry air will find its way in between systems leaving us dry but cloudy on Tuesday, with additional showers on Wednesday.
