This afternoon will be a soggy out there with rain showers expected throughout the afternoon so be sure to have an umbrella in hand. High temperatures will be well above average at 61°F . The SPC has issued a marginal risk for severe storms for areas south of the I-70 corridor. Although we are not under this risk we could still see a few lightning strikes or rumbles of thunder later in the afternoon. Enjoy the warmer temperatures today as a cold front will move through over night which will cause temperatures to plummet for the day tomorrow.
