Rainy Thursday to Continue – Oct 5, 2017

Showers continue into the afternoon hours this Thursday. It’s been several weeks since we’ve seen our last major rain, so it is nice to finally see some much needed rain return.

With all the rain falling, be aware of pooling water on the sides of roads. If you drive over such areas, be cautious, as hydroplaning is a possibility!

Isolated rumbles are possible throughout the day in regions of higher precipitation. Here in Muncie, rain will continue as the afternoon progresses, but precipitation chances will decrease.

Expect the heavier rain to move out in the early afternoon hours before showers become more isolated.

Once the showers pass, we may even see a few hours of partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will hover in the mid 70’s for Delaware county today, with a high of 74 degrees. Winds will remain calm throughout the day.
